To be considered at the shortlisting stage, please include in your application:

  • cover letter
  • resume
  • response to key selection criteria outlined in the job’s position description. Careers Victoria provides helpful advice about how to reply to key selection criteria. 

These documents should be saved as separate files in .doc or PDF format.

Shortlisting - How we find you

All applications are reviewed against the key selection criteria.

Interviews - We want to know more about you

The interviews may involve skill based questions, behavioural questions and/or case studies.

Preferred Candidate - Congratulations for making this far

We will conduct appropriate reference checks, one of which will be from your current or last employer.

The Statutory bit - Pre employment checks

Prior to being made an offer, preferred candidates will be required to:

  • complete a National Police Check (NPC) and;
  • hold a current Employee Working With Children Check (WWCC).

Bethany may use the Visa Entitlement Verification Online (VEVO) system to verify that you have the right to work in Australia.

The really exciting bit - Verbal offer

As the preferred candidate, you will be formally offered the role.

Time for the paper work

After accepting a verbal offer we will send you a contract of employment and new starter paperwork.
