Support after separation

Support after separation

Bethany provides a range of services to support all family members following a separation.

Supporting children after separation program

Going through a separation can be a stressful, sad and confusing time. Children often have feelings of guilt, anxiety, sadness, loss and anger when their parents separate.

Bethany Community Support works with children aged from four to 18 years. We provide counselling to help children:

  • talk about family issues and explore their feelings
  • understand the changes in their family unit
  • manage their relationships with family
  • develop skills to deal with the challenges of separation

We offer specific parenting programs listed below. Counselling for all family members can also be provided. Learn about our family relationship counselling service.

If you’re experiencing challenges with your ex-partner to manage contact with your children, you might consider Bethany’s supervised contact services.
