Bethany Community Support is a participating institution in the Commonwealth Government’s National Redress Scheme.
The scheme provides acknowledgement and support to people who experienced sexual abuse as children while in the care of institutions. It was established in response to the Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse, which estimated that 60,000 people experienced institutional child sexual abuse in Australia.
We are committed to addressing the wrongs of the past and providing survivors of child sexual abuse with the support they deserve. We encourage survivors to learn about their options in seeking redress through the scheme.
